Jon Arrigoni grew up in the coastal town of Clinton, Conn., and, naturally, he spent much of his youth on Long Island Sound. A friend’s father had a Sutphen 340 Outrageous and the boat had a definite impact on the youngster. A couple of years ago, Arrigoni saw a pristine 1988 340 Outrageous for sale in Connecticut and missed out on it, but when the boat popped up for sale again on offshoreonly.com, Arrigoni said, “I had to have it.”
